TRY-A-TRITry-A-Tri began in 2009 with the concept of mixing love for exercise and Jesus Christ in a non-judgmental or threatening setting. Everyone is welcome to our group. Just like our exercise level, we have multi-marathon runners to walkers. We also have people who are on various journey's in their faith. We have some who have walked with Christ for a long time all the way to people who are looking to start their walk, or just learn more about the group. Our normal schedule runs with the school year. We usually meet every other Sunday at someone's home. We will go for a run, walk or bik ride and end with smoothies. During that time we will have a casual time of prayer and a devotional. In the summer we meet every Tuesday at the Town Park behind the firehall. This is a time for the whole family to come out and have fun. We normally sign-up for a Triatholon yearly and many races of varying lengths, from 5ks to 1/2 marathons. Signing up for individual races is optional. We would love for you to come and check out the Try-a-Tri Group. Stop in for a run and a Smoothie and stay for the devotional time if you wish.Meeting schedule is available in the lobby of the church.Childcare is provided.

JUSTICE EXPERIENCE CLICK HERE FOR PRINTABLE REGISTRATIONDid you know that the Bible mentions justice, injustice and oppression more than 200 times? If you spend a little bit of time looking at those passages, you'll find that God is furious about injustice. The people of God, though, tend not to be furious. We're uncomfortable with oppression, indignant about injustice in an abstract way, but unless it touches our lives directly we rarely ever get mad. What can we do about injustice? Often we feel powerless to help. This retreat will be focused on how we can be agents of God for redemption in our world. The decisions you make, the products you buy, the way you pray, and where you go in your life will all have an effect on justice. Join us as we journey together on how we can truly make a diffference...one person at a time.
